This one was $10,000. This donation fulfilled a board goal to reach $200,000. In 2024, they made a total of $55,400 in donations to further their mission to “raise money through donations to support the library’s goals, programs and plans.” The BookMarks Friends group received placement of their logo on the back of the SwoopMobile because of their ongoing support of Marion Public Library. BookMarks donations top $200,000 since inception in 2015 In a world where everyone is subscribing to digital services, you can still find a great selection of popular DVDs at your Library. Just outside the quiet space of the library solarium live thousands of DVD videos that patrons can browse through and check out. There is a limit of 3 feature films, but you have a 21-day check out period. Select your video sleeves, check them out at the main desk and you will be directed to the returns desk to have the actual DVD retrieved from the DVD storage cabinet where it is stored until the next patron checkout.
