Michael Koryta, aka Scott Carson, is a New York Times bestselling author whose work has been translated into more than 20 languages and has won or been nominated for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, Edgar® Award, Shamus Award, Barry Award, Quill Award, International Thriller Writers Award, and the Golden Dagger.
You may also recognize him as Scott Carson, his pseudonym. Michael feels most writers secretly desire another identity. He is one of many authors who write under multiple names. His reasoning is to fulfill a lifelong fantasy of having a name that could be spelled and pronounced.
His 2024 release, Lost Man’s Lane, was under Scott Carson. The next release, Departure 37, due in 2025, will also be under the Scott Carson name.
