Tornado Week - Marion Ohio Weather Team
March 13 @ 7 PM
Large Meeting Room

The Marion Public Library and the Marion Ohio Weather Team are excited to invite the community to a special informational event at the library during Tornado Week on March 13th at 7 PM. The MOW Team is putting on a special presentation geared towards both kids and adults, which will cover current and historic Marion County weather events. The flooding of the Scioto River, the 1973 Tornado, and other extreme and damaging storms in Marion County will be featured in the presentation.

The Marion Ohio Weather Team will also share essential weather safety information and tips, and attendees will learn how to keep safe during tornadoes and other dangerous weather events like hail, extreme heat and cold, and ice storms. Participants will also learn how to create their very own family preparedness plan, how to make a safety kit, and more.
