Did you know the Eastern Bluebird used to be a common sight around Ohio? Due to habitat loss and the introduction of invasive species, specifically the European Starlings and House Sparrows, the Bluebirds' numbers have been decreasing across Ohio.

Sara McNamee, Director of the Marion County Office of Emergency Management, will be joining us to prepare you in case of an extreme winter storm. She will instruct on creating an emergency winter bag and preparing your home for high-level snow emergencies. Director McNamee will provide information for resources and answer your questions and concerns.

In 1997, a school nurse grew concerned about the high rate of leukemia and other cancers in graduates.
